Cool Guitar Pick Strap5/24/2017 I am a guitar player in a band and we go around the country playing different venues every night. we play our own original music and are full time musicians. I myself unfortunately have developed a problem which needs fixing.
After nights of gigging in a row I go through a lot of cool guitar picks. The problem however is not the amount of cool guitar picks I go through but rather the fact that I have no place to keep them so they are always accessible to me when I need them. This is until I found the guitar strap that holds cool guitar picks. I have actually found two different versions of the guitar strap that can hold guitar picks. The Cool Guitar Picks http://guitarpickzone.com/cool-guitar-picks/ Holder Built InThis is where the guitar strap comes with a built in holder to contain one’s guitar picks. It is part of the guitar strap itself and cannot be removed. This is the one I currently use to hold my cool guitar picks. The Guitar Pick Holder Strap OnThis is an apparatus that clips onto one’s guitar strap that will contain the guitar players cool guitar picks. The reason I do not use this kind of holder is because there is a chance it may fall off at anytime. The strap I currently use holds my cool guitar picks and will never fall off my strap as it is built in. Now every night on stage I know i have my cool guitar picks on me at anytime. \

My Expensive Acoustic Guitars5/23/2017 I am what is called a sit-at-home guitarist as I only play my expensive acoustic guitars at home. I used to rock out big time at my local pub to a massive crowd of two people (my friend and the bar tender) With my expensive acoustic guitars. My dreams of pub rocking are long gone but I continue to play guitar whenever I get a chance. I’ve got many an expensive acoustic guitars story to share but I figured why not share my most unique and weird story that has happened to me in my epic days of bar jamming.
Background to My Acoustic Guitars So I will start with a little bit of background to my expensive acoustic guitars. The line 6 spider amp is regarded as a pretty crappy amp even though I don’t find it to be bad at all. People think it’s bad purely because of the name and association line 6. But those same people will go out and buy another modelling amp by a different brand because it is apparently more cool. That however is beside the point. I used to gig with my crappy line 6 amp and expensive acoustic guitars, but it definitely served me well over the years. I spilled beer, wine, tequila, coolaid, water and pretty much any other alcoholic substance on the guitar amplifier, It’s been knocked over on stage a few times, it’s survived long bumpy tour roads in the back of a van, I’ve dropped guitar picks inside it and it’s still here and working. I’ve always however looked after my expensive acoustic guitars as best I can. At one particular show, I was rocking out with my Expensive Acoustic guitars and my band mate tripped and stubbed his toe through the cloth of the speaker of the line 6 amplifier. I wasn’t mad or anything, In fact I thought it was hilarious at the time. After that gig I decided to repair the cloth of the amp myself. Without me knowing, my band mates poured a whole bag of guitar picks in my amp and my expensive acoustic guitars. I don’t know how I managed to miss that but anyway, it happened. I closed up the amp, went off to practice, and turned the amp on and the amp made such a funny and unique sound with all the plectrums being vibrated by the speakers. The guys in the band thought this was the funniest thing they had ever seen. Needless to say, the sound of that amplifier was used on a particular song that we recorded for our album in studio along with one of my expensive acoustic guitars. After recording that album, we went on tour and I lugged that crappy line 6 amp along with picks inside just so I could get the sound for that song live. Days Playing Expensive Acoustic Guitars Since retiring from my rocking out days, I have subsequently repaired the amp again taking out all those old plectrums that my band friends shoved in there as a prank. I still use this very guitar amp today with my expensive acoustic guitars and have no problem whatsoever that it is a line 6 spider. In fact, that makes it all the more appealing for me as the guitar amp owner. I am proud to tell people my great sound comes from a piece of gear that is regarded as being sub-standard when in fact is a perfectly good piece of gear and does not deserve to be knocked the way it has. |
